This is the Official Homepage of The Definition Of Sound a Dance/Trance & Lounge music project of the talented music producer Gary Hunter.

I have been producing Dance/Trance & Lounge music on and off for about 6 years and recently remastered 4 of my Lounge music CD's in 2009, which were, "Paradise Island", "Beyond The Storm", "Chill Factor 1 (Remix Album) and "Chill Factor 2" (Remix Album), all of which are available to buy through this website.

My next album will be a Dance/Trance CD called "Born To Listen" which will include many tracks already heard on several of my website's, including the very popular "All I Want Is You", "Rain", "See The Light", "Maybe" and "Heaven". All the tracks will be freshly mixed and remastered.

In addition there will also be a Dance/Trance Remix album which will feature extended remixes of tracks off the "Born To Listen" album.

The main influences for my Dance & Trance music are ATB, Sash!, DJ Sammy, Lasgo, Ian Van Dahl & Fragma, whilst my Lounge music is very much influenced by the series of "Cafe Del Mar" albums.

The Lounge music is a world away from the music I usually produce and may surprise people when they hear it!

My main passion is writing and recording electronic music but I really do enjoy creating music with a blank canvas and using Samples, Loops and Drum Machines to create songs.

All the recorded work of The Definition Of Sound is created using Samples, Loops & Drum Machines.
